A need for more flexible construction analytics reporting options prompted Diversified Automation’s Dee Kinser to purchase JP Analytics so that she could provide relevant, actionable financial data to her superiors.
Diversified Automation is a Louisville, Kentucky headquartered company that builds automation controls for companies in the automotive, e-commerce, baggage, manufacturing, and parcel industries. With more than 170 employees who work throughout the United States, the company uses JOBPOWER for all its accounting functionality and for capturing all its project data.
Dee Kinser is Director of Accounting and Finance. Before the company implemented JP Analytics, creating cash flow forecasts and changing JOBPOWER’s standard construction reports to suit her needs was difficult to do.
After a short tutorial with JOBPOWER, it was easy to learn how to use JP Analytics for modifying the reports Kinser needs to view often. Additionally, whenever Kinser had a question JOBPOWER has been there for support.
JP Analytics allows Kinser the flexibility to manipulate the fields in her reports, arrange data in the order that she would like to review it, and to remove data that’s not essential for certain reports.
With JP Analytics, it was easy for Kinser to create a modified cash flow forecast that she can send to her corporate company. The module has also allowed her to modify the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable reports to meet her specific needs.
“I think that the big kicker for me is the AP and the AR reports. Being able to pull those down and not having to manipulate the information out of the regular JP application has been a big timesaver.”
Kinser saves more than an hour every week with the flexibility to pull the data that she needs to see when she needs to see it and for her to track the company’s cash flow. “JP Analytics has definitely been helpful to be able to really drill down by due dates to accurately report our cash flow.”
