Set up frequently used items with description and prices. The items can be labor, material,
equipment, or even phrases that you use a lot such as "For work performed". When you
use the software to prepare the customer invoice you can select items from the Item File.
The program will fill in the item description and price on the invoice (you can
override those fields).
If you invoice by marking up an item's cost, specify the cost of the item in the Item File. When preparing the
invoice, the program will mark up the cost by a percentage that you specify.

Items in the Item File can also be used to prepare Purchase Orders and to charge inventory to jobs.
