Zero in on the area of the job that is over the estimate. This report compares actual
cost to budgeted cost for the overall job, for each division (i.e. Site Work, Concrete, etc.),
or for each job cost category code.
If you see a problem area, review the detailed format of the report which lists each transaction
– supplier invoices, subcontract applications, payroll, inventory charges, etc.
