Can I see a demo of JOBPOWER?

Register for a Live Web Demo
You can register for an online web demo at a time that is convenient for you. A knowledgeable sales
representative will guide you through a hands-on evaluation of JOBPOWER. You can explore the various program options,
make accounting and payroll entries, view reports, and get a true feel for the software. You can discuss
the construction accounting and job costing features that are important to you and get answers to all of
your questions.
Web demos usually last 45 minutes to an hour, but you can invest as little or as much time as your
schedule permits. Exploring a live demo of JOBPOWER will assist you in making an informed decision of your

Will JOBPOWER run on a computer with Windows Vista?
Yes, we ourselves are using computers with Vista as are many of our customers. We recommend the
Business version of Vista.

What are the system requirements for JOBPOWER?
To install and use JOBPOWER, your hardware must meet the following specifications:
•PC with a Pentium or higher processor
•256 MB of RAM minimum
•CD-ROM drive capable of reading CD-R media (6x or higher is recommended)
•USB port
•SVGA monitor (capable of displaying a minimum of 256 colors)
•Mouse or other pointing device
•120 MB hard disk space available for JOBPOWER. If accounting records are kept
for more than one company, add 20 MB for each additional company.
•Microsoft Windows 98, ME, 2000, NT, XP, Vista, or Small Business Server 2003
•Page printer (laser or inkjet) required with Windows 2000, NT, XP, Vista, or Small Business Server 2003

Can JOBPOWER be used in a network environment?
Sure! The network version of JOBPOWER allows multiple users to simultaneously access the program and share the
data. JOBPOWER is a closely integrated program that uses one set of files for storing data about jobs, vendors,
customers, etc. In order to maintain data integrity, in certain situations the program prevents multiple users
from concurrently accessing files.
The single user version of JOBPOWER can quickly and easily be upgraded to the network version. JOBPOWER looks
identical in appearance and operation whether installed on a stand-alone PC or on a network. Upgrading from
the single user version to the network version of JOBPOWER requires no re-entry of data; it simply determines
the number of users able to access the software at any given time.
You do not have to have a dedicated file server in order to run JOBPOWER on a network; it will operate in a
client-server environment or in a peer-to-peer environment. The following operating systems will support JOBPOWER
in a network environment: Windows 98, ME, 2000, XP, Vista, or Small Business Server 2003 network. It will also work
on a Windows NT peer-to-peer network (version 4 or higher) on a Windows NT client-server network (version 4 or higher)
or on a Novell client server network (version 4.11 or higher).

What if I need help installing JOBPOWER?
