JOBPOWER is created
In 1984, Applied Computer Systems set out to develop a premier contractor software package which would include accounting and job costing features to meet the needs of contractors and the construction industry. We asked contractors and their CPAs what those software needs were. We found out about the limitations of general purpose accounting packages and why that software wasn't suitable for contractors. We heard about very expensive contractor software that was a struggle to use. Out of our research came JOBPOWER, an integrated construction accounting/job costing/management package that combines power and ease of use.
Applied Computer Systems develops, sells and supports JOBPOWER
From our corporate office in Knoxville, Tennessee, we sell and support JOBPOWER to contractors throughout the United States. We sell our software directly to the contractor with no middleman. Because we are the developers of JOBPOWER, we know our product and can provide accurate answers to the prospective user about what the software can do.
