Can I see a demo of JOBPOWER?
There are two ways to see a demo, either request a free Demo CD or register for a Live Web Demo.

You can request a demo CD be mailed to you. Along with the CD, you will receive a brochure of the software
features and a reference list of JOBPOWER users. The demo includes JOBPOWER Construction
Accounting/Job Cost Management/Payroll, VirtualBoss Scheduling and ProEst Estimating.
Register for a Live Web Demo
You can register for an online web demo at a time that is convenient for you. A knowledgeable sales
representative will guide you through a hands-on evaluation of JOBPOWER. While
exploring the various program options,
making accounting and payroll entries, and viewing reports, you will get a true feel for the software. You may look at the
construction accounting and job costing features that are important to you and get answers to all of
your questions.
Web demos usually last 45 minutes to an hour, but invest as little or as much time as your
schedule permits. Exploring a live demo of JOBPOWER will assist you in making an informed decision of your
accounting software purchase.

How does JOBPOWER Cloud work?
The software is installed on a hosted server. Each user is assigned a Cloud login. That login can be used wherever the user happens to be,
in their office, in the field, or at home. Each user can only be signed into the
Cloud via one device at a time. In addition to using a PC,
you can also use Apple Mac, iPad, IPhone, Android tablets and smart phones. All you need is internet access.

Can JOBPOWER be used in a network environment?
Sure! The network version of JOBPOWER allows multiple users to simultaneously access the program and share the
data. JOBPOWER is a closely integrated program that uses one set of files for storing data about jobs, vendors,
customers, etc. In order to maintain data integrity, in certain situations the program prevents multiple users
from concurrently accessing files.
The single user version of JOBPOWER can quickly and easily be upgraded to the network version. JOBPOWER looks
identical in appearance and operation whether installed on a stand-alone PC or on a network. Upgrading from
the single user version to the network version of JOBPOWER requires no re-entry of data; it simply determines
the number of users able to access the software at any given time.
You do not have to have a dedicated file server in order to run JOBPOWER on a network; it will operate in a
client-server environment or in a peer-to-peer environment. The following operating systems will support JOBPOWER
in a network environment: Windows® XP, Vista, Server 2003, Small Business Server 2003, Server 2008 or Small Business Server 2008.

What is available in the Cloud?
In addition to JOBPOWER and DocumentVision, we can also license you to use Microsoft Office 2010.
Microsoft Office includes Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, OneNote and Publisher.

What are the system requirements for JOBPOWER?
To install and use JOBPOWER, your hardware must meet the following specifications:
• Processor - recommend 1.5 GHz or
higher (minimum 1 GHz)
• Microsoft Windows® XP Service Pack 3, Vista, Windows 7, Server 2003, Small Business Server 2003, Server 2008, or Small Business Server 2008
• 3 GB hard disk for JOBPOWER and database. If you have multiple companies, add 400 MB for each additional company.
• Memory - recommend 2 GB (minimum 512 MB)
• CD-RW/DVD-RW recommended for backups
• Monitor - recommended 17” or 19” monitor; Resolution - 1280 x 720 or higher (1024 x 768 minimum)
• Page printer (laser or inkjet) required
• Scanner (recommended) – TWAIN compliant scanner or TWAIN compliant all-in-one printer (multi-document feeder recommended)

Can JOBPOWER be set up at any point during my fiscal year?
Yes. JOBPOWER is designed to allow you to set up and enter accounting and payroll balances as of any month in your
fiscal year, while still capturing month-to-date, quarter-to-date, year-to-date, and job-to-date balances.

What if I need help installing JOBPOWER?
Just give our support representatives a call and they will be happy to help. When you order JOBPOWER, you
receive a CD and an operating manual with instructions on installing the program. This is an easy process
that just requires a few clicks and many users don't need any assistance; but if you do, just call us. We
will be glad to help you with the installation process or answer any other questions you may have.

How safe is my financial and payroll data in the Cloud?
It is probably safer than in your office. The only people that have access to it, are people that you give a Cloud login to.
The data center has full redundancy on their servers, generators, etc. Each server has a “hot” spare, each storage unit is mirrored to
another storage unit, and they have redundant fiber internet connections. The site guarantees 100% up time, in our experience they have
provided 99.999% uptime over the last two years. Physical access to the datacenter is controlled by security personnel, fingerprint and
badge access. They have daily off-site backups as well.

What is DocumentVision?
DocumentVision is document management software designed to complement JOBPOWER. It allows you to import, scan, store and
organize all your paper and electronic files and documents by customer, job and/or vendor. It will
reduce wasted time searching around the office for paperwork.

Who can help me get JOBPOWER set up and how long will it take?
Our experienced support staff will be happy to help you every step of the way. Most of our new users have JOBPOWER
completely set up and running within days. With JOBPOWER's 'Quick Setup', you can get started even if you don't have
complete general ledger balances.
If you are currently a QuickBooks or Peachtree user, we can convert your customer and vendor
data at no additional charge. This may save you a great deal of time not having to key in that information manually.
If you are currently using a different software package, just check with us we will be happy to explore converting
your customer and vendor data as well.

Will JOBPOWER run on a computer with Windows® Vista or with Windows® 7?
Yes, we ourselves are using many Vista PCs, as well as Windows® 7 and SBS 2008. We recommend the Business version of Vista. For Windows® 7, we recommend the Professional version.
